Dr. Sarah Grunnah (she/her/ella) is Assistant Professor of Theatre at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. She is a dramaturg, translator, theatre historian, and performance theorist with research interests in early modern Spanish-language drama, translation/adaptation, gender, and the intersection of performance with sport/figure skating. She holds a PhD from the University of Oxford and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Sarah is also a film director, and authors the Substack ‘Skate the Stage,’ which explores figure skating through the lens of performance theory. She is originally from a northern Wisconsin town at the tip of Lake Superior.
